Customers in the Boston area may pick up products directly from our Cambridge office. All other domestic orders are shipped by the United Parcel Service (UPS). The lowest cost option, UPS Ground, generally takes 1 to 6 days for delivery to U.S. addresses. The following map indicates approximate UPS Ground shipping times from Cambridge, Massachusetts.

For Canadian customers, UPS Standard to Canada is the preferred shipping option. Note that you must use the two-letter postal code for your province (e.g. ON, not Ontario) when completing your profile or checking out. Otherwise, UPS will indicate that there are no shipping methods available. Also please note that UPS may bill Canadian customers for additional import duties or delivery charges. In some cases, these duties and delivery charges can be substantial - as much as 40% or more of the original purchase price. If a delivery is refused, Machine Science will deduct the cost of returning the merchandise from your original payment.

Customers outside the United States may encounter difficulties with the store's address validation module (inability to verify address) or be presented with prohibitively high calculated shipping costs. If you are ordering for international delivery, please contact us by telephone (617-354-7171), as in many cases we can arrange for more affordable shipping options via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Shipping times vary considerably depending on the destination.

Merchandise in good condition may be returned up to 30 days after the date of purchase. The original purchase price will be refunded in full, but the purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs. In certain instances, a 20% restocking fee may be applied.
